Any other information on results incl. tables

In contact with the flame of the gas burner, the test substance melted and turned into a red/dark yellow residue. After removal of the ignition source, no propagate combustion of the test substance along 200 mm length of the pile within 4 minutes was observed. According to the guideline, performance of the main study for the determination of the burning rate of the test substance was not required. Based on the results obtained the test substance isconsidered ‘not highly flammable’.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
non flammable
Remarks:
Migrated information
Conclusions:
The preliminary screening test was performed for the determination of the flammability of Custom Yellow #2.

No propagation of combustion of the test substance along 200 mm length of the pile within 4 minutes was observed. According to the guideline, performance of the main study for the determination of the burning rate of the test substance was not required. Based on the results obtained the test substance is considered ‘not highly flammable’.
