Administrative data
First-aid measures
Skin contact: Following contact with skin, wash off immediately with plenty of water.
Eye contact: In case of contact with eyes immediately flush with plenty of water.
Ingestion: In case of ingestion, drink plenty of water and if you feel unwell seek medical attention.
Inhalation: Following inhalation, move to fresh air. Symptoms of toxicity may occur after several hours, therefore, medical observation of breathing may be necessary.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media: Use an extinguishing medium suitable for the surrounding fire e.g. water, foam, carbon dioxide and dry powder.
Special protective actions for fire-fighters: In the event of fire wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: In the event of fire, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and copper oxides may be released.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:: In case of accidental spillage avoid dust formation and use personal protective equipment.
Environmental precautions – do not allow to enter drains.
Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up: Clean/scoop up spills immediately, and then place into a suitable container for disposal.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling: Ensure adequate ventilation and avoid generation of dusts.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Not combustible. Store in a dry place and keep container tightly closed.
