Elemental phosphorus as alloying element: Preliminary screening test conclusions: Ferro-phosphorus powder does not ignite and propagate combustion within the test period. The powder should not be classified as a flammable solid and no further testing is required.

- Ferro-phosphorus powder is a solid and the preliminary screening test result is negative, hence ferro-phosphorus powder is not classified as a flammable solid. No ignition was observed within 5 minutes of contact with air; hence ferro-phosphorus powder is not classified as a pyrophoric solid.
