Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Obtain medical attention and proceed in the meantime as follows:
- Ingestion : Wash out mouth with water. Induce vomiting. Seek medical assistance
- Eye contact : Rinse out with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes with the eyelid wide open
- Skin contact : Quickly remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin with soapy water.
- Inhalation : Move the victim out of the polluted zone and away to fresh air. If the victim is complaining, summon doctor.
Fire-fighting measures
- Suitable extinguishing media : Water / CO2 / powder / foam
- Extinguishing media not to be used : /
- Specific danger : Hazardous vapours possible in case of fire.
- Protective equipment : Use independent breathing equipment.
Accidental release measures
- Personal Precautions : Don't inhale dusts. Wear protective equipment.
- Environmental Precautions : Do not allow to enter drains
- Cleaning up : Collect dispersed material mechanically or by vacuum. Avoid dust generation.
Handling and storage
- Handling : Common precautionary measures in keeping with the danger. Avoid generation of dusts.
- Storage : Tightly closed, in a dry and well-ventilated place at room temperature. Avoid fire and sources of heat.
