Description of key information

Iron pellets are inorganic solids with melting points >1000°C. According to column 2 of REACH Annex VII boiling point measurement is not required for substances with a melting point >300°C. Therefore, a boiling point determination is not required for iron pellets.

According to column 2 of REACH Annex VII, a study is not required because the melting point of iron ore pellets is >300°C.
