Dustiness:

Studies on dustiness were performed according to CIPAC method MT 171 according to GLP and showed that diboron trioxide (boric oxide 60 mesh with a d50 of 0.051 mm) and boron oxide (ETI, d50 = 0.44 mm) were dust category 1 - nearly dust free and diboron trioxide (Boric oxide 200 mesh with a d50 of 0.044 mm) was dust category 3 – dusty. The dustiness is related to the particle size.
