Description of key information

Vapour pressure: negligible (read-across from citric acid)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A vapour pressure value of 2.21E-6 Pa at 25°C for citric acid is reported in a collection of reliable data which has been subject to peer-review and in which the original data sources are traceable. The result is considered to be reliable. The vapour pressure of the metal salt is expected to be lower than that of the parent acid and, therefore, the vapour pressure of trisodium citrate can be said to be negligible.
