Additional information

The substance is not soluble in water and has a high calculated log Koc (7.87 - 8.91). Based on these physico-chemical properties a distribution to the soil and sediment compartment is most likely if the substance is released to the environment. Due to the low water solubility, an extensive removal of the substance in the primary settling tank or fat trap of sewage treatment plants is expected. A significant release to natural water bodies is not likely surface waters is not anticipated, and therefore an exposure of the sediment or soil compartment is considered unlikely.
