Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

One literature study regarding the phototransformation of DMAC in water is available (Dorfman 1973/Zepp et al. 1987). The degradation in surface water was analyzed at lake Greifensee in Switzerland. A half-life for the water surface (average OH radical concentration 2.5E-16 mol/l) of >= 9.2 days and and for the whole water column (depth = 14 m) of >= 2.1 years (average OH radical concentration 3.0E-18 mol/l) was determined.
