Description of key information

No studies are available. A study is not required, since the melting point of the substance is above 300 degrees Centigrade.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In accordance with Section 7.3, column 2, of Annex VII of REACH, a study of vapoure pressure is not required for substances with a melting point above 300ºC.

Magnesium carbonate is a solid at room temperature which melts at temperatures in excess of 450 °C. Hence, a vapour pressure study is not required.
