Administrative data
First-aid measures
Wear suitable gloves
Provide adequate ventilation to minimize dust concentration.
In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment.
Safety glasses should be worn to prevent injury from airborne particules and/or eye contact with this product.
Wear suitable protective clothing.
Inhalation : ensure the area is well ventillated. Obtain medical attention if breathing difficulty persists.
Skin contact : remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash skin with mild soap and water.
Eye contact : Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Obtain medical attention.
Ingestion : If swallowed, rinse mouth with water (only if the person is conscious). Do not induce vomiting. Obtain medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media : water spray, foam
Unsuitable extinguishing media : powder, carbon dioxide
Under fire conditions, hazardous fumes will be present.
On exposure to high temperature, may decompose, releasing toxic gases (CO, CO2, NOx)
Use self-contained breathing apparatus when in close proximity to fire.
Accidental release measures
Avoid dust production.
Do not empty into drains.
Collect spills and put this into appropriate container.
Avoid raising powdered material due to explosion hazard.
Comply with local regulations for disposal.
Handling and storage
Keep away from sources of ignition. Store in dry, cool area.
