Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Regarding the results of the acute tests on fish, aquatic invertebrates and algae fish is not the most sensitive species of these three trophic levels. A chronic test with the more sensitive aquatic invertebrate Daphnia magna is already available. Hence, a chronic test on fish is not supposed to reveal any information which might be relevant for the assessment of the substance. Therefore and for reasons of animal welfare no chronic test on fish is performed.
