Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The key study (Melo et al., 2019) showed a 48h-EC50 of 74.2 mg/L.

This is supported by an older study (Hantink-de Rooy and Balk, 1985) that showed a 48h-EC50 of 88 mg/L.

Additional information

Two valid non-GLP studies with restriction are available. One study performed in 1985 (Hantink-deRooy and Balk), before standardized test guidelines were available. A static acute test was performed without chemical analyses. A study performed in 2019 ( Melo, et al.) is also available. This study was performed according to OECD guideline 202 with chemical analyses. No details on analytical method were given in the publication, but it was shown that test concentrations were stable and stayed within 80 -120% of nominal.

Both studies gave similar results: The first study gave a 48h-EC50 of 88 mg/L (nominal) and the second study gave a 48h-EC50 of 74.2 mg/L (nominal).
