Description of key information

Two key studies were identified as representative for short term toxicity in fish. Both studies were performed with Poecelia reticulata.

The first resulted in a 96h-LC50 of 369 mg/L (nominal concentration). The second is considered a sub-chronic study and resulted in a 12d-NOEC for egg and larvae development as well as mortality of 320 mg/L (nominal concentration).

The results are supported by a valid GLP study performed with Danio rerio, with a 96h-LC50 of 370 mg/L.
