Description of key information

not an oxidising solid

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VII, the oxidising properties do not need to be determined, because the substance is incapable of reacting exothermically with combustible materials on the basis of the chemical structure.

Justification for classification or non-classification

According to the Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on classification, labelling and packaging (CLP) of substances and mixtures the substance is not considered to be an oxidising solid, because the substance contains oxygen and these elements are chemically bonded only to carbon or hydrogen.
