Description of key information

Additional information

This substance has high water solubility (>100 g/L at 20 °C), a low vapour pressure (0.08 hPa at 20 °C), and low log Kow (0.42 at 25 °C). The substance has a low potential for adsorption to soil or sediments or bioaccumulation in aquatic organisms, and a low potential to volatilize from water or soil to the atmosphere. The substance is hydrolytically stable in water under acidic conditions, and is susceptible to hydrolysis under alkaline conditions (half-life 10.9 days at pH 9 at 25 °C). The compound meets the criteria of ready biodegradability in OECD 301 series tests. Upon release to the atmosphere the compound will react with hydroxyl radicals with a predicted half-life of 0.7 days.
