In a determination of the physicochemical properties of N-cyclohexylbenzothiazole-2-sulphenamide thermal decomposition was found starting at 145 °C with an isothermal differential thermal analysis.
Executive summary:

In a GLP compliant study on the physicocemical properties of N-cyclohexylbenzothiazole-2-sulphenamide thermal decomposition of CBS was determined at 145°C. For the determination an isothermal differential thermal analysis was conducted (Bayer AG, 1997). The test substance was heated up in a DTA-system stepwise with 5 °C per step. The heat effect is recorded within the isothermal phase of about 25 minutes. This test conforms to the method „determination of the melting point" described in the ,,Amtsblatt der Europäischen Gemeinschaft", Nr. L 383 A (Method A.1, section 1.4.4).
