Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

A study of the pathways of oxidation of methylated amines as well as the respiratory activity of the cells in their presence indicated that Pseudomonas sp. strain 20 is of interest, since the direct oxidation of methylated amines seemed preferable to oxidation through the N-methylglutamates pathway which was confirmed by the comparison of the respiration rates of the cells of different strains in the presence of methylamine.
