Skin sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no adverse effect observed (not sensitising)
Additional information:

SCP liquor was not sensitising to skin according to the experimental in vivo test result with the LLNA (Local Lymph Node Assay) (the Key study).

No other studies on sensitation could be found in the literature search.

Migrated from Short description of key information:
- SCP liquor was regarded as a non-sensitiser to skin (OECD 429, EC 440/2008 B.42).

Justification for classification or non-classification

SCP liquor is not sensitising to skin based on the test result (EC 440/2008 B.42) Therefore no classification for skin sensitisation is suggested for SCP liquor according to the available information.

SCP liquor does not contain any identified components having a harmonised classification for skin or respiratory sensitisation, but such impact cannot be totally excluded.

The proposed classification for sensitisation, derived form the experimental result for SCP liquor is

CLP:            No class

DSD/DPD:    No class
