Additional information

A study according to OECD TG 109 and Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 method A.3 was conducted. The density of Cyanuric chloride was measured at ambient temperature (21.6 degree C +- 0.2 degree C) with a calibrated gas comparison pycnometer. Two test series with different weights were performed. The mean of the density for the two test series was determined to be 1.904 g/cm3. A supporting study was conducted using x-ray determination of the molecular orientation of Cyanuric chloride. The density of Cyanuric chloride is determined to be 1.92 g/cm3. This value was verified by another publication using calculation of the density from crystal structure. Here the density was calculated to be 1.93 g/cm3 confirming the value of the key study.
