Description of key information
A study to determine this endpoint is considered to be scientifically unjustified as dimethyl carbonate is an organic substance, not a peroxide, containing carbon, hydrogen and oxygen atoms where the latter are bonded only to carbon. Therefore according to REACH guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment point R.7.1.13.3 testing does not need to be carried out.
