Reference
Name:
6-phenyl-1,3,5-triazine-2,4-diyldiamine
Type of composition:
legal entity composition of the substance
State / form:
solid: bulk
Reference substance:
6-phenyl-1,3,5-triazine-2,4-diyldiamine
PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

As long as no further data on the fate of Benzoguanamine is available it must be considered to fulfil the criteria of persistence according to Annex XIII of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. Since the screening for bioaccumulation potential gives no indication and the substance does not fulfil any criteria for being toxic in the means of Annex XIII Benzoguanamine is not considered as PBT substance.

Likely routes of exposure:

Based on the identified uses of Benzoguanamine a direct emission to the environment is very unlikely. However, in case of an emission event the water compartment would be the most likely route of exposure based on the intrinsic properties of the substance.
