Additional information

A single chronic study is available. This is only reported in basic detail, but is a guideline study in the prefered species and is relatively recent so is considered reliable. The study shows a NOEC greater than the maximum value tested of 500mg/l. QSAR predictions confirm that methoxyethanol is low toxicity to invertebrates at chronic levels of exposure. The measured value is preferred as the key parameter over the model derived data.
