Effects on fertility

Effect on fertility: via oral route
Dose descriptor:
NOAEL
300 mg/kg bw/day
Additional information

Based on the findings from the one-generation toxicity to reproduction test, no further reprotoxicity tests were required.

Short description of key information:
A toxicity to reproduction screening test using read-across substance RA2 was used to address this point.

Justification for classification or non-classification

A reproduction toxicity study carried out on Read Across substance RA2 yielded a NOEL of 300 mg/kg bw/day. No adverse effects were noted up to the maximum dose of 1000 mg/kg bw/day. This result does not trigger classification. Therefore, it can be concluded that Triethanol amineacetate is also not classified since sameness has been established with this read across substance RA2.
