Description of key information

There were no experimental data considering possible bioaccumulation of 2-pyrrolidone in aquatic or terrestrial compartments. Due to the extremely low logPow value of -0.71 there is no necessity to perform any experimental study. Furthermore, an EPI-Win (BCFBAF v3.00) calculation was performed by Chemservice S.A. (2010, updated 2019). The result of the calculation confirms the negligible risk of accumulation in aquatic organisms for 2-pyrrolidone.
