Details on test conditions:
TEST SYSTEM
- Test vessel: 70L glass aquarium, containing 60L of natural Baltic Sea water (salinity 7‰).
- Material, size, headspace, fill volume: The test solution, containing 125 ug test substance/L water
- Renewal rate of test solution (frequency/flow rate): every second or third day (at weekends)

- For chemical analysis, pooled samples of five fishes, which were sacrificed and rinsed in 100mL of distilled water per fish during 30 seconds, were wrapped in aluminum foil and kept frozen at -20 degrees C until analysis. 15 bleaks were exposed during 14 days to 125 ug/L of the test substance in the water. At the end of the exposure, five fishes were sampled and placed in uncontaminated Baltic sea water. This water was renewed with the same frequency as the test solution. Additional samples of fish were taken after one and 7 days in the contaminated water.
