Description of key information

The melting points of substances in the category Rosin, hydrogenated rosin and their salts range from 31 to >300°C.

The melting point of Resin acids and Rosin acids, potassium salts was not determined since the sample decomposes before melting at ca 250°C. The test was terminated at this point

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A GLP-compliant study, conducted according to EU Method A.1 and OECD Guideline 102, was provided for Resin acids and Rosin acids, potassium salts (Chilworth Technology, 2010a).
