The substance is inherently biodegradable in the OECD 301F test.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
inherently biodegradable

Additional information

In an extended closed-bottle test conducted according to the OECD guideline 301 F, biodegradation (ThOD) values of 51% at day 28 and 64% at day 60 were obtained for the test substance. Therefore, the test substance showed an high potential for biodegradation even if it did not fulfill the critera for ready biodegradability. Therefore, the biotic degradation potential of the test substance does not need to be investigated further.
