Additional information

A guideline study conducted in compliance with OECD 201 observed no toxicity of the substance to Desmodesmus subspicatus. The exposure was terminated after 72 hours and an EC50 >220 mg/l based on algal growth rate was determined. In an additional scientific publication, an IC50, IC10 and NOEC of 20.3, 0.4 and 3.12 mg/L (nominal) was observed in a 72 h algal growth inhibition test according to OECD 201 using Chlorella vulgaris (Pablos et a. 2015). All effect results are considered as above the limit of solubility due to use of DMSO as solvent.
