Description of key information

The dissipation half-live of the substance was investigated in a non-GLP modified OECD 308 test within 24 hours of exposure using 50 µg/L 14C-radiolabeled test material (BASF SE 2019). After 24 hrs, 15.2 % of the test material remaining with the water phase and 51.6 % was associated with the within the sediment. Due to the absence of significant biodegradation within 24 hrs, about 33 % of the test material was concluded to be associated with the glass wall of the test vessel.

The dissipation time was calculated using the First Order Multi Compartment (FOMC) kinetic model and revealed a DT50 of 0.06 days (error [%] 1.83; r2: 1.00).

Nevertheless, for further clarification on the dissipation behaviour of the substance within the aquatic environment, a full OECD 308 water sediment simulation degradation study is proposed.
