Additional information

In a reliable reliable acute toxicity study of ENB in fish, the 96-hr LC50for Zebra fish (Brachydanio rerio) was 7.6 mg/L and the 96-hr NOEC was 5.02 mg/L. In a guideline (OECD 203) and GLP study, the Environment Agency of Japan (1999a) reported a 96 hr LC50 value for ENB of 7.00 mg/l (95% confidence limits of 6.17 and 8.51 mg/l) in Medaka (Oryzias latipes). The key parameter was selected from the the only original study report that was available.
