- Vehicle / solvent: petrolatum
- Concentrations: 0.5 % (w/w)
- Testing/scoring schedule: The tests are read on removal and 24 h, 48 h, and 96-120 after removal (at least 3 readings).
- Removal of test substance: after 24 h

Examinations: All readings are made by a dermatologist.

Results and discussion

Results of examinations:
Observations during 1985-1986:
- Number of subjects with positive reactions: 3/24 (diagnosed as having an occupational allergic contact dermatitis to acrylates)
- Number of subjects with negative reactions 12/24
- Number of subjects with irritating reactions 9/24 (3 of these were actively sensitized to 2-HEA among other acrylates)
