Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The chemically related substance fish oil / triglyceride, bisulfited, sodium salt (EC 307-037-4) has been determined in the standard test not to have a flash point below its boiling temperature, and because of its structural similarity the castor oil, sulfated, sodium salt (EC 269-123-7) is predicted to have similar flash point properties. According to the REACH Regulation, Annex VII, Column 2, specific rules for adaptation from column 1; the test does not need to be conducted because the substance is an aqueous solution that doesn't contain volatile organic components or components with a predicted flash point above 100°C
