Additional information

Two flashpoint studies have been performed with the test substance. In the Fisk and Langer (1995) a flashpoint of 208 degrees Celsius was derived at 1000 hPa. The test was performed according to A.9 method in a Pensky-Martens closed cup apparatus. In the Baker (2010) study, a flashpoint of 217.5 degrees Celsius was found at 1013.25 hPa. This test was also performed according to the A.9 method (closed cup). The latter study was used as the most relevant key study.
