The hydrolysis of Benzenesulfonic acid, C10-13-(linear) alkyl derivs., calcium salt, was determined at pH 5, 7, and 9 using an OECD

Guideline 111 study. The resultant mean percent hydrolysis was -16.66% at pH 5, -25.59% at pH 7, and -18.59% at pH 9 after 5 days, indicating that the substance is hydrolytically stable. Phototransformation studies are not required but would not be expected to be a significant mechanism of degradation.
