Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Phototransformation in air is not relevant due to low vapour pressure (< 0.0001 Pa).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Experimental results on phototransformation of Glycerides, C16-18 mono- (CAS 91052-47-0) are not available. Calculated values for components of the substance using AOPWIN v1.92 indicate that the substance will be rapidly photodegraded by reaction with hydroxyl radicals (Gebhardt, 2013). The estimated half-lives of the main components range from 4 to 11 hours. However, due to the low vapour pressure of the components (< 0.0001 Pa, SPARC v 4.5 calculation) the substance is not expected to exist in the vapour phase in the atmosphere.
