Key value for chemical safety assessment

Koc at 20 °C:
153 400

Additional information

The Koc value of 153400 L/kg indicates a high potential of bis(2 -ethylhexyl)maleate to adsorb to soil, sediment and suspended solids. As this QSAR-estimated value is far above any relevant trigger values, it can be assumed that a measured value would results in a similar order of magnitude, too. For this reason, a study on adsorption / desorption does not need to be conducted.
