Additional information

Based on the available data on its fate and behaviour in the environment, reaction mass of dimethyl adipate, dimethyl glutarate and dimethyl succinate is considered to have a low potential of adsorption onto soil and sediments. Therefore, it is expected to mainly partition into the aquatic compartment where it is readily biodegradable. Moreover, it has a potential of biodegradation in marine aerobic conditions.

Additionaly, based on its low logKow, it has a low potential for bioaccumulation.
