Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The substance hydrolyses rapidly to dimethylsilanediol. Dimethylsilanediol has a low log Kow value and thus have low potential for bioaccumulation, therefore in accordance with Column 2 of REACH Annex IX, there is no need to conduct the bioaccumulation in aquatic species study.
