Description of key information

The mean percent hydrolysis for the branched CaDDBS material was <10% at pH 4, 7 and 9 after 193 days, indicating that the substance is hydrolytically stable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Half-life for hydrolysis:
1 yr
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The hydrolysis of the Branched CaDDBS was determined at pH 4, 7 and 9 using an OECD Guideline 111 study. The resultant mean percent hydrolysis was <10% for pH 4, 7 and 9 after 193 days, indicating that the substance is hydrolytically stable. Half-life is estimate to be >1 year at all pHs.
