There is no study available on ready biodegradation for C7-C9, n-alkanes, isoalkanes, cyclics. Based on a category-approach data are read-across to hydrocarbons, C6-C7, n-alkanes, isoalkanes, cyclics, < 5% n-hexane. A study using a standardized OECD 301F ready test guideline is available for this UVCB substance (Shell 1997). Results from this manometric respirometry test procedure demonstrated 98% biodegradation after 28 days of hydrocarbons, C6-C7, n-alkanes, isoalkanes, cyclcis, < 5% n-hexane. The test substance is thus considered readily biodegradable.
