Additional information

Inorganic salts with high aqueous solubility will exist in a dissociated form in an aqueous solution. The cation Na+ will adsorb to soil, but is generally abundantly present in the environment. The anion [(Fe(CN)6)4-] however will have a low potential for adsorption. In addition an adsorption screening study (OECD 121) could not be conducted as this test method is scientifically not justified for inorganic substances. Also, QSARs are not suitable for such (ionic) substances.
