* No auto flammability observed up to a temperature of 440 °C. At a temperature of 90 - 120 °C the test substance started to melt.

* In a mixture of the test substance with Kieselgur (1:1) melting was observed at 90 - 120 °C and at a temperature of 190 °C auto flammability in several steps with a temperature rise of up to 450 °C was observed.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

For the pure substance in the Grewer Oven no self ignition occurred below 440 °C. In the presence of Kieselgur (1:1) a self ignition was detected starting at 190 °C
