Additional information

The pKa value of 9.34 (Sparc online calculation, v4.2, 2008) indicates that aziridine will predominantly exist as a cation in the environment, therefore the calculated HLC of 0.74 Pa m3/mol for the uncharged molecule (HenryWin v3.20, 2008) was corrected according to REACH Guidance Document R7a, Appendix R.7.1-2. The pH-corrected HLC (pH 7) for the cation is 0.00336 Pa m3/mol (BASF SE 2010).
