Unsuitable extinguishing media: Full water jet

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: In the event of fire the following can be released:

- carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide

- Nitrogen oxides (NOx)

Under certain conditions of combustion traces of other toxic substances cannot be excluded

Advice for fire-fighters:

Do not inhale explosion and/or combustion gases

Use self-contained breathing apparatus and wear full protective suit.

Further information: Collect contaminated firefighting water separately, must not be discharged into the drains.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Use personal protective equipment.

Environmental precautions: Do not allow to enter drains or waterways. Do not discharge into the subsoil/soil.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Pick up mechanically. Dispose of absorbed material in accordance with the regulations.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling

Advice on safe handling: Avoid the formation and deposition of dust. Provide exhaust ventilation if dust is formed.

General protective measures: Avoid contact with eyes and skin

Hygiene measures: At work do not eat, drink, smoke or take drugs. Wash hands before breaks and after work. Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
