Test guideline
- Qualifier:
- according to guideline
- Guideline:
- OECD Guideline 307 (Aerobic and Anaerobic Transformation in Soil)
- Deviations:
- yes
- Principles of method if other than guideline:
- As there is no possibility to obtain 14C Iabelled test item, the degradation tests can be conducted using non-labelled test item. ln that case, it is possible to determine the dissipation rate of the test item from different compartments (e.g. soil extracts or water). The development of non-extractable residues (NERs) and the screening for unknown transformation products (including volatiles and complete mineralisation to CO2) cannot be facilitated. See for more details attached statement.
Test material

- 201-128-1
- EC Name:
- Di-tert-butyl 1,1,4,4-tetramethyltetramethylene diperoxide
- Cas Number:
- 78-63-7
- Molecular formula:
- C16H34O4
- IUPAC Name:
- 2,5-bis(tert-butylperoxy)-2,5-dimethylhexane
Constituent 1
- Radiolabelling:
- no
- Remarks:
- Synthesis of radiolabelled test item is not feasible (see attached statement).
