PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

In an aquatic bioaccumulation study performed with a similar compound (DOTE), residues of both DOT and MOT within the fish were below the LOQ of 0.25 mg/kg. Subsequent BCFs were calculated to be 99 to 1294 for DOT and 58 to 178 for total tin. As BCF are < 2000, MOTE is considered to be not bioaccumulable and thus, is not classified PBT nor vP/vB.
