Short-term aquatic toxicity of the test substance was tested on three trophic levels (fish, invertebrate and algae). The lowest LC50 was defined for fish as > 10 mg/L. For microorganisms, EC10 was defined as > 8 mg/L. These values were used for the derivation of aquatic PNECs.

Long-term aquatic toxicity was not tested because long-term aquatic exposure is not expected, due to the apparent rapid hydrolysis of the test substance when it comes to contact with water and the ready biodegradability of the hydrolysis product.
