Description of key information

Phototransformation in air: Key study: The rate constant for the vapor-phase reaction of Camphene with photochemically-produced hydroxyl radicals has been estimated as  56.8029 E-12 cm3/molecule-sec at 25 ºC. This corresponds to an atmospheric half-life of about  0.188 days or 2.26 h (12 -hours day) at an atmospheric concentration of 1.5 E6 hydroxyl radicals per cm3 (EPI Suite estimation).

Additional information

Key study: Estimation results: Using the AopWin v1.92 model of EPI Suite v3.20, the rate constant for the vapor-phase reaction of Camphene with photochemically-produced hydroxyl radicals has been estimated as  56.8029 E-12 cm3/molecule-sec at 25 ºC. This corresponds to an atmospheric half-life of about  0.188 days or 2.26 h (12 -hours day) at an atmospheric concentration of 1.5 E6 hydroxyl radicals per cm3.
