The measurement of density or relative density of petroleum distillates by digital density meter is covered by method ISO 12185. A range of 0.675 to 0.770 g/cm3 at 15°C covers all possible grades within this substance description if measured with the agreed method. A test conducted by ExxonMobil Chemical (2010) with a measured value of 0.73 g/cm3 demonstrates that the measured value falls within borderline values. Following ASTM D 4052 Galp (2010) determined the density to be 0.68 g/cm3.
